PaperCut Hive and Pocket errors when releasing print jobs

Between 2AM and 3:30AM AEST customers may have experienced issues releasing print jobs with PaperCut Pocket and PaperCut Hive.

We experienced elevated error rates picked up by our monitoring systems. During this period, customers may have experienced issues getting a list of printers to select to release to within the mobile application and also could have been unable to release print jobs.

All systems returned to normal after intervention by the development team.

We are continuing to investigate why there were elevated rates of errors with one of our cloud services, and are performing a full post-mortem with the aim of reducing the chance of this happening in the future.
